this week

on sunday after relaxing all day because i skipped stake conference (on accident... i swear), i took an evening stroll in cdm with laura and kat. it was wonderfully warm and i just can't get enough girl time with them these days.

then while driving home from work one day there was the most amazing sunset i ever did see. my phone couldn't capture all the beauty even though it tried real hard, so you'll just have to trust me. i pulled over on pch before turning onto my street and sat watching it with like 15 strangers who also pulled over.

i took lucy's baby, matilda, a gift since i wasn't able to make it to her shower. i can't wait to see her in the outift i got... this picture was actually taken when i held her at 3 days old. she was so comfy in my arms the other night that i didn't want to disturb her with the camera. the expression she's making is why lucy calls her fusser face. i love her!!

silly me, i left my headlights on during my lunch break on monday and killed the battery. luckily two very nice and hunky men in my office came to the rescue. of course this happened during a literal downpour so they picked me up so i wouldn't be late for work then went back for my car when the rain had stopped. well these guys have even sweeter teeth than i do so today i got them sprinkles cupcakes to thank them(/i was craving one so i figured i should get them something as well). i loved the heart on the box for valentine's day. <3

which reminds me, i got started on my valentines! i almost didn't want to post this picture in case any of the recipients read my blog but... i'm pretty of proud of them. and this was before i bought some romantic things at micheal's so i'm just getting started.

also, my hair today is reminding me of chelsea clinton circa 1995.
